UMAN is a journal and a think tank run by students at Umeå School of Architecture. At UMAN we are students with the hope of creating discussions and debates both within and outwith the architecture community.
We think that architects early on should start to practice community engagement with future users.

The issue, which you are holding in your hand, is named BEAUTY. It is questioning the ideals and opinions surrounding beauty through architecture, design, politics, art and much more. It is a topic not usually covered in the architecture school, so we think it is important open up for a discussion.
